John Burden
Managing Director
John founded Isca Maritime Security Services Ltd in 2019, taking the company from conception to MLC Certification through the Maritime & Coastguard Agency. Prior to starting Isca MSS, John worked as the EMEA Area Manager for one of the largest Private Maritime Security Companies.
Richard Guy
Training and Crewing Director
Richard was a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Royal Marines, and has been working in maritime security since leaving in 2012. Prior to joining Isca, Richie managed the training portfolio of over 350 security guards. He oversees all recruitment, pre-deployment screening and training at Isca.
Lee Arkinstall
QHSSE Director
Lee is a former Royal Marine and has been working in maritime security for the past 10 years - onboard as a Team leader for an armed security team, and latterly shoreside as a security consultant. Lee is an ISPS/ISM Lead Auditor, specialising in cruise ships and yachts. Lee has performed security audits on over 150 vessels.
Stephen Kyle
Senior Consultant and Trainer
Steve is a retired Detective Sergeant. He served as a lead investigator in drug, fraud and covert operations, and worked both nationally and internationally in the National Crime Squad and National Criminal Intelligence Agency. Steve spent 16 years as a SECO/SSO with Disney Cruise Line and Seabourn.
Nick Wilson
Senior Consultant & Trainer
Nick is a retired Detective Sergeant. He investigated serious organised crime for the National Crime Agency and was Head of the Drug Unit in the National Criminal Intelligence Service. He has worked as a SECO/SSO for Marella, Seabourn and Disney, and shoreside for MSC.
